The Togo Transport Corridor

Multi-modal corridor spanning road, rail, port, and power, anchored by China Merchants Group's 50% equity entry into the Lomé Container Terminal.

Commissioned by the Office of the President of Togo in 2012, UBU led the design and coordination of an integrated multi-modal transport corridor, established the Presidential Projects Unit, and created Togo Invest.

• Lomé Container Terminal opened 2013 with China Merchants Group as strategic investor
• Urban masterplan for Lomé produced to guide long-term city growth
• Mineral surveys confirmed commercially viable deposits of iron ore, nickel, cobalt, copper, and chromium
